Patrick V.P. O’Laughlin 77 of Trenton died Thursday August 25, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born September 8, 1938 in E. St. Louis to Joseph “Tommy” and Shirley (Petrick) O’Laughlin; they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by his step father Pete Muskopf.

He married Debbie Heagy November 11, 1967 in E. St. Louis and she survives in Trenton.

Also surviving are his children Mark (Tina Rickert) O’Laughlin of Beckemeyer, Michelle (Steve) Hrebec of Alhambra, Kristine (Jason) Gall of Trenton.

6 grandchildren Drew, Sydney Rickert, Hunter O’Laughlin, Cora Hrebec, Brenna, Madilyn Gall.

Brothers and Sister Tommy (Judy) O’Laughlin of St. Jacob, Elizabeth (Ed) Tessmer of St. Charles, MO, Ronald (Linda) O’Laughlin of O’Fallon, MO.

Patrick retired from the commissary at Scott Air Force Base as a meat cutter.

Member of the Pistol Pushers Car Club, E. St. Louis.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday August 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Trenton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday August 28 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday August 29, from 9;00 to 10:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home, Trenton.

Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association and will be received at the funeral Home.

Joseph G. “Fireball” Kohrmann 88 of Germantown died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Countryside manor in Aviston.

He was born May 27, 1928 in Bartelso to Edward and Emma (Hollenkamp) Kohrmann: they preceded him in death.

He married Rosalia “Rosie” Albers February 15, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown. She preceded him in death November 18, 2012.

Also preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law Louis and Betty Kohrmann, Edward “Fritz” and Elsie Kohrmann, Victor and Bernita Kohrmann, Richard and Delores Kohrmann, Elmer and Barb Kohrmann, father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Mary Albers, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Clarence “Steve” Kohnen, Ollies Albers, Virgil and Helen Albers Gregory “Doo” Albers, Bernice Albers, Bill Winter, great niece Dana Beach.

Surviving are his children Gary (Irma) Kohrmann of Germantown, Craig (special friend Diane) Kohrmann of Germantown, Carla Huelsmann of Trenton, Patrick Kohrmann of Germantown.

He started Joe Kohrmann Masonry (now Kohrmann Brothers masonry) in 1974, and S&K construction in Bartelso. He previously worked as a laborer at IMS Mill in Mascoutah, Pennsylvania railroad, River Construction, Granite City Steel, and Ray Schaefer

He was given the name “Fireball” for his zest in life. He loved Cardinal baseball, as much as Clinton County Baseball, he never missed an opportunity to show his hand in a game’s of pinochle, euchre or poker: and enjoyed hunting, fishing, game of bank pool. He always seemed to find an abundance of vegetables from gardens throughout the county and never left a crown without asking “did you hear the one about…” followed by a really good joke!

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown. Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday August 7, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Monday August 8, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Moss Funeral home in Germantown.

Joetta R. VonHatten 91 of Aviston died Sunday July 31, 2016 at St. Joseph hospital in Breese.

She was born September 17, 1924 in Breese to Joseph and Louise (Lutz) Heldorfer: they preceded her in death.

She married Wilbert “Bill” VonHatten June 5, 1946 at St. Felicitas Catholic Church in Beaver Prairie and he preceded her in death February 3, 2003. Also preceded in death by her sons Billy Joe VonHatten, Eric VonHatten, daughter Marlene Engel, granddaughter Nicole Engel, sisters and brothers-in-law Cora and Frank Warnecke, Alvina and Robert “Bud VonAlst, Reva and Joe Dumstorff, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bernard and Louisa (Woltering) VonHatten, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Adolph VonHatten, Urban and Gladys VonHatten, Mary Ann Borgelt, Elmer and Margaret VonHatten, Ben Grapperhaus.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 3, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday August 4 from 8:00 to 9: 30 a.m. at the Moss Funereal home in Breese.
