He was born April 21, 1987 in Breese to Eric and Deborah (Eversgerd) Nettles and they survive in Germantown

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Evelyn “Red” Eversgerd and Viola Nettles.

Also surviving are his sisters Amanda “Mandi” (Danny) Luebbers of Carlyle, Amy (friend Gunner Shumard) Nettles of Germantown.

Adam was member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. He enjoyed his movies and cartoons and loved the outdoors and camping.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 1 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday July 2 from 8:00 to 9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Marilyn C. Beckmann, nee Kohrmann, 75, of Germantown, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Breese Nursing Home.

Mrs. Beckmann was born October 9, 1938 in Germantown to Gertrude (Winter) and Joseph Kohrmann, Sr.; they preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Linnemann; a sister-in-law, Diane Kohrmann; and brothers-in-law, Richard Jansen, Artie Thoele, Raymond Boeckmann, Cletus “Skeets” Holtmann, Edward Wellen, Paul Beckmann, and Ralph Beckmann.

She married Virgil Beckmann on September 7, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he survives in Germantown.

Also surviving are her sons, Randall “Rudy” (Lori “Pinky”) Beckmann of Germantown, Allen Beckmann of Carlyle, and Mark (Tracy) Beckmann of Germantown; 7 grandchildren, Taylor and Connor Beckmann, Hannah, Maddie, and Halle Beckmann, and Bryce and Blake Beckmann; siblings, Florence Jansen of Germantown, Robert (Claire) Kohrmann of Albers, Mildred Boeckmann of Germantown, Marcella “Sally” (Sep) Brueggemann of Germantown, Mary Jane Thoele of Germantown, Roger Kohrmann of Germantown, Carolyn Holtmann of Germantown, Joseph Kohrmann, Jr. of Germantown, and JoAnn (Jim) Haake of Germantown; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pete Linnemann of Germantown, Delores Wellen of Aviston, Henrietta (Ben) Koch of Germantown, Jeanette Beckmann of Germantown, and Robert “Bob” (Rebecca) Beckmann of Germantown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara Ann M. Robke, nee Schroeder, 66, of Aviston, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Robke was born October 3, 1947 in Breese to Alvin Schroeder of Bartelso and the late Wilhelmine “Wilma” (Ripperda) Schroeder.

She married Jim Robke on April 18, 1967 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown and he survives in Aviston.

In addition to her father and husband, she is also survived by her children, Michael (Sharon Clark-Robke) Robke of O’Fallon, Lynn (Michael) Malott of Aviston, and Cheryl (Tim) Heath of Potosi, MO; 5 grandchildren, Amanda (Steven) Bobby, Kaley Robke, Tyler Robke, Cheyenne Heath, and Todd Heath; a great-grandchild, Ethan Bobby; sisters and brothers, Patricia Albers of New Baden, Mary Lou (Paul) Sutphin of Shiloh, Sharon (Ken) Albers of Germantown, David (Cathie) Schroeder of Aviston, and Susan (Robert) Hoff of O’Fallon; a sister-in-law, Lu (Roger) Thien of Breese; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother; a son, Todd Robke; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Veronica (Leonard) Robke; a sister-in-law, Betty Eaton; and a brother-in-law, George Eaton.

Barb was currently employed as a Claims Analyst Assistant at Advantage 2000 Consultants in Swansea and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, embroidering, arts and crafts, but especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. George Mauck officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm and again on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 8:00-9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Michael J. “Mike” Heil 58 of Trenton died Friday April 18, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.

He was born September 1, 1955 in East St. Louis to Joseph Heil and Camille (Bohnak) Gaines: they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by a step father Robert Gaines, father-in-law Andrew “Red” Drees, sister-in-law Mary Jo Baumgartner, brother-in-law Marvin “Pop” Netemeyer, nephews Jason Niemann, Randy Ruth.

He married Jane Drees November 3, 1990 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Trenton and she survives in Trenton.

He was born May 10, 1927 in Trenton to Frank and Mary (Gebhart) Athmer: they preceded him in death.

He married Thelma “Timmy” Fuhler August 24, 1948 at St. Francis Church, Aviston. She preceded him in death October 20, 1990.

Thomas G. “Hoggie” Hogg, 63, of Carlyle, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Hogg was born August 11, 1950 in Highland, IL to Georgia (Fohne) Hogg and the late Alois Hogg; his mother survives in Breese.

He married Judy McPherson on June 6, 1976 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Highland; she survives in Carlyle.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by his children, Tiffany (Jay) Meyer of Breese, Brandon (Jessica) Hogg of Breese, Zachary (Britni) Hogg of Carlyle, Patrick (special friend Kristen Davis) Hogg of Albers, and Garrett (fiancée Laura Gilomen) Hogg of Trenton; 5 grandchildren, Riley and Falynn Meyer, Michael and Daniel Hogg, and Natylie Hogg; siblings, Edna Grapperhaus of St. Rose, Rose (Don) Thole of Riverview, FL, Patricia Riegel of Trenton, Stan Hogg of Highland, Rick Hogg of Highland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (Jeanna) McPherson of Highland and Steven (Joanne) McPherson of Alexandria, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hoggie retired from Gateway FS as a Certified Crop Specialist, and he had a true love for Grain and Livestock farming. Tom enjoyed cooking and made the absolute best chocolate chip cookies.

He was a member of the Clinton County Farm Bureau, Central Community High School Ag Board, and was a former School Board Member and Basketball Coach at Breese District 12 Grade School.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 1:00-6:45 pm at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
