Alfred H “Al’ Molitor, 92, of Germantown, died Tuesday, February 20, 2013 at Aviston Countryside Manor.
Mr. Molitor was born October 22, 1920 in Germantown a son of Henry and Caroline (Lampe) Molitor; they preceded him in death.
He married Frances Hilmes on May 5, 1947 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; she preceded him in death January 11, 2006.
Also preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Aloys “Ollie”, and Joseph Molitor; sisters, Hilda Kuhl and Sr. M Lauretta PHJC “Alfreda”, brothers-in-law, Edward Kuhl, Alvin Boeckmann, Phillip Walsh, Erwin Lampe, Lawrence “Boop” Hilmes, Clarence “Stix” Hilmes, Greg Hilmes and Joseph Hilmes; and sisters-in-law, Mary Molitor, Joey Molitor, Amanda Molitor, Henrietta Hilmes, Veronica Boeckmann, and Florence Hilmes.
Surviving are sons, Marvin (Jane) Molitor of Germantown and Dennis (Diana) Molitor of Troy; 5 Grandchildren-Jennifer (Christian) Jundt, Carl Molitor, and Pamela (Tim) Elliott , Michael (Nicole) Molitor, and Ben (Julie) Molitor;5 Great-Grandchildren-Austin and Haley Jundt, and Kyle and Maddie Molitor, and Matthew Elliott; a brother, Elmer Molitor of Collinsville; sisters Dolores (Erwin) Lampe of St. Louis and Chris (Phil) Walsh of Ballwin, MO; and sisters-in-law, Arlene Hilmes of Beaver Prairie, and Lynn Hilmes of Highland.
Al was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St Henry’s Men’s Society and Mater Dei Fathers and Friends club. He also served many years as the scoutmaster for troop 273 in Germantown.
Al worked most of his life as a laborer at Peerless Enamel in Belleville, but his main love was farming. He worked the family farm until it was sold in 1978 and since, loved to show off his peonies, rhubarb, blackberries, and pecan crops that flourished in his yard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Cemetery or to the St. Boniface Clock Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
Dorothy L. Haag, 89, of Breese died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.
She was born August 26, 1923 in Beckemeyer to Bernard and Anna (Vandeloo) Isaak; they preceded her in death.
She married E Robert Haag II on January 22, 1944 at St. Anthony Church in Beckemeyer. He preceded her in death July 7, 1975.
Also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Judy Haag; a great granddaughter, Sadie Haag; brothers, Alphonse Isaak, Ray Isaak, and Walter Isaak; a sister, Laura Carrigan; brothers-in-law, Joe Carrigan and Emil Garcia; and sisters-in-law Eileen Isaak and Zelma Isaak.
Surviving are her children, E. Robert “Bob” (Earlene) Haag III of Breese, James “Chip” (Barb) Haag of Breese, Rena (Dominic) Sabatino of Lebanon.

Walter H. Duing 87 of Germantown died Monday February 18, 2013 at Breese Nursing home.
Lorraine Koenig 96 of Trenton died Friday February 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
David A. “Dave” Tabaska, 50, of Breese, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese.
Mr. Tabaska was born September 18, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to Gerald “Jerry” and Ursula (Stallings) Tabaska; they survive in Breese.
Also surviving is a brother, Jack (Rosanne) Tabaska of O’Fallon, MO.
Dave received Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from Colorado School of Mines and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He worked in Computer Maintenance for the United States Census Bureau. He was a member of St. Dominic Church in Breese and was very patriotic and enjoyed studying the history of the Revolutionary War, Civil War, and WWII.
A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Dominic Church in Breese.

L. Budde, nee Hemker, 52, of Bartelso, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Budde was born March 22, 1960 in Breese to Vincent and Rita (Beckmann) Hemker; they preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ben Budde; a brother-in-law, Gary Wessling; a sister-in-law, Pat Hemker; and a niece, Sharon Hemker.
She married Stanley Budde on June 13, 1991 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he survives in Bartelso.
Also surviving are her siblings, Joe (Carol) Hemker, Jim (Judy) Hemker, Betty (Bernard “Bronson”) Budde, Shirley Budde, Glenn “Beans” (Judy) Hemker, Sue (Ron “Doozle”) Fuehne, Tom (Sandy) Hemker all of Bartelso, and Doris Wessling of Decatur; mother-in-law, Christine (Winkeler) Budde of Bartelso; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Hemker of Germantown, Jane (Norb) Klostermann of Breese, Dan “Rufie” (Jan) Budde of Centralia, Carol (Jim) Loepker of Carlyle, Shirley (Lyle) Boerngen of Lebanon, Polly Budde of Bartelso, Kevin “Rim” (Sharon) Budde of Greenville, Maryann (Dale) Holtgrave of Aviston, Michael “Hoopes” (Sonya) Budde of Germantown, and Annette “Net” Budde of Bartelso; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Karen formerly worked in the Physicians Surgery Center at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia and Mt. Vernon, and as an Office Administrator at St. Louis University Hospital. She was an avid runner, Chicago Bears Fan, Deer hunter, and quilter.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Germantown and the Catholic Holy Family Services.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
