Carol M. Hollenkamp (Nee Deien) 76 of Breese and formerly lived in Huey for 44 years. Died July 22, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.
She was born March 6, 1939 in Breese to Louis and Estelle “Nooks” (Essenpreis) Deien: they preceded her in death.
Also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Adeline (Hollenkamp) Clark and Bill Clark, brother-in-law Walter “Corky” Schulte.
She married Paul “Wheaties” Hollenkamp January 31, 1959 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Breese and he survives in Breese.
Also surviving are her children Daniel “Hooly” (Gale) Hollenkamp of Carlyle, Douglas (Cathy) Hollenkamp of Breese, Donna (Brian) Loepker of Breese.

Carol retired from the housekeeping department at St. Joseph hospital in Breese and was a LPN at the Carlyle Health Care Center. Carol’s love for life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren attending all their activities especially sporting events.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be Monday July 27, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese. Fr. Chuck Tuttle, Fr. George Mauck officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at St. Dominic – St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese.
Visitation will be Sunday July 26 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Moss Funeral Home in Breese,
Monday July 27, from 9:00 to 9:50 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese.
Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
