Jane M. Koopmann, nee Beckemeyer, 67, of Germantown, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her daughter’s residence.

Mrs. Koopmann was born December 28, 1944 in Breese to Vincent and Clara (Van Dorn) Beckemeyer; they preceded her in death.

She married Ed Koopmann on July 10, 1970 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Beckemeyer; he survives in Germantown.

Also surviving is a daughter, Amy (John) Bruggemann of Germantown; 2 grandchildren, Cole and Ali Bruggemann; a brother, Dave (Mary) Beckemeyer of Beckemeyer; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen Gebke of Albers, Blanche Vandeloo of Bartelso, Al Koopmann of Breese, Roman “Butch” (Lorene) Koopmann of Belleville, and Andrew “Pete” (Janet) Koopmann of Belleville.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Thomas Koopmann, Cornelius Gebke, and George Vandeloo.

Jane retired as a teacher from Albers Elementary after 35 years and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

She enjoyed gardening, playing golf, watching football, but most of all spending time with her family.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Germantown.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 8:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Memorials can be made to the Clinton County Relay for Life or to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.

Joseph G. Sprehe 92 of Germantown died Friday September 28, 2012 at Country Side Manor in Aviston.

Marcella M. “Sally” Ades 91 of Germantown died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Breese Nursing Home.

: Catherine F. “Cathy” Koerkenmeier 78 of Highland died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Faith County Side Homes in Highland.

Teddy L. Long, 61, of Aviston and formerly of Trenton, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Long was born October 3, 1950 in Jacksonville, IL to Theodore and Coy (Smith) Long; they preceded him in death.

He was formerly married to Nancy Wagoner and has two surviving children, Kelly (Chris) Jackson of Denver, CO and Matt (Dr. Stephanie, DDS) Long of Trenton; a granddaughter, Hadley Jackson; a brother, Philip (Janet) Long of Clay Center, KS; sisters, Phyllis Long of Carlinville and Georgia Long of Springfield; and his longtime caretaker and friend, Teresa Westerman of Trenton.

Teddy was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and formerly worked at Laclede Steel Co. in Alton and as a maintenance supervisor and EMT for Monterey Coal Co. in Albers.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, a Hamm Radio Operator, and a former member of the Trenton Emergency Services and Disaster Agency.

Funeral Services will be Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Pastor Larry Griffith officiating. A private interment with full military honors will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Memorials can be made to the Wounded Warriors or to the Disabled Veterans and will be received at the funeral home.

Dolores A, “Del” Meyer 71 of Bartelso died Friday September 21, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville.
