Brian J. Pingsterhaus, 45, of Germantown, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Pingsterhaus was born January 22, 1967 in Breese to Joseph and Lucille (Tebbe) Pingsterhaus; they survive in Germantown.
He married Anita Weiffenbach on June 15, 2000; she survives in Germantown.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by his step-children, Shane Kuhl, Ariel Kuhl, Devon Victory, and Jerica Victory all of Germantown; a grandson, Mason Johnson; siblings, Tom (Ruth) Pingsterhaus of Carthage, MO, Brenda (Allan) Davis of Greenville, Nancy Ruppel of Dade City , FL, Tony (Cindy) Pingsterhaus of Lamar, CO, Lori Pingsterhaus of Germantown, Joyce (Steve) Wilson of Jefferson City, MO, and Sara (friend Dave) Ard of Lakeland, FL; and a sister-in-law, Diana (Carl) Counts of Herrin.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Dan and Joseph Pingsterhaus; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford and Sarah Weiffenbach.
Brian worked as a Prison Guard at Centralia Correction Center and was a farmer. He also helped his wife raise Canecorso Show Dogs.
He was a member of St. Boniface Church in Germantown.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
Memorials can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network and will be received at the funeral home.
