Arvid E. Nelson CMsgt – Ret. 82 of Trenton died Thursday December 4, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born September 26, 1932 in Clarkfield, MN to William and Randee (Berg) Nelson; they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by a son-in-law Jeff Lampe, brothers Leonard, Robert, Leroy, Eldrid Nelson, sisters-in-law Audrey Nelson, Shirley Lutz, brothers-in-law Myron Hess, Harold Lutz, Donald Koch.

He married Marian Hess June 17, 1954 in Clarkfield, MN, she survives in Trenton.

Also surviving are his children Rick (Barb) Nelson of Aviston, Gary (Deb) Nelson of Breese, Denise Lampe of Highland.

7 grandchildren Bridget, Brian, Dustin Nelson, Sarah (friend Jason Tippett) Nelson, Laura (Brad) Henss, Austin (Lindsey) Lampe, Paige Lampe.

4 great grandchildren Dakota Vigil, Kylyrr and Amber Perkins, Oliver Nelson

Sisters-in-law Marion “Danny” Nelson of Mendocino, CA, Joan Nelson of Wilmer MN, Yvonne Nelson of St. Paul, MN, June Hess of Pocahontas, Kay Koch of Alhambra.

Arvid served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He also retired from Scott Air Force Base as a Civil Service Computer Engineer.

Funeral Service will be Thursday December 11, 2014 at 6:00 PM at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Mark Stryjak officiating

Visitation will be Thursday December 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at St. John United Church of Christ, Trenton.

Memorials can be made St. John United Church of Christ and will be received at the visitation or at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is handling the arrangements for the family.

: Roger H. Huelsmann 76 of Breese died Thursday December 4, 2014 at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

He was born September 6, 1938 in Breese to Theodore and Wilhelmina (Homann) Huelsmann: they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by a brother Robert Huelsmann, a brother-in-law Ralph Wilke.

Visitation will be Monday December 8, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday December 9, from 9:00 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese

Michael W. “Mike” Richter 58 of Breese died Thursday November 20, 2014 peacefully at his residence.

He was born October 6, 1956 in Breese to George and Leona (Timmermann) Richter: they preceded him in death.

Also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph and Virginia (Wolters) Ripperda.

He married Theresa Ripperda July 12, 1980 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Aviston and she survives in Breese.

Mike was a dairy farmer until 1999, there after he continued grain farming and raising livestock, which he continued while battling cancer.

Visitation will be held on Monday November 24 from 4 to 8 PM and Tuesday November 25 from 8:00 to 10:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Mater Dei High School and will be received at the funeral home.

Joenella M. “Jo” Bryan 78 of Germantown died Thursday November 20, 2014 at her residence.

She was born October 17, 1936 in Bartelso, IL to Joseph and Elizabeth (Peters) Beer: they preceded her in death.

She married Chief Yeoman James Ripperda December 29, 1967 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and he preceded her in death May 15, 1993.

Member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, NARFE, LIFT and friends group. She loved to travel, visiting 48 of the 50 states, and especially enjoyed cruises.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday November 24, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday November 23 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday November 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown
