Richard E. Hummert Jr. 74 of Buffalo NY died December 28, 2016. Born October 18, 1942 in Breese, son of the late Richard E. Hummert Sr. and Dorothy (Byrd) Hummert.
He married Darleen Pickering and she survives in Buffalo, NY.
Also, surviving a son Jeff (Michelle) Feurer, grandfather of Willie Feurer.
A sister Betty Smith.
Aunt Kathryn “Toots” Timmerman, Uncle Vic (Rose) Hummert, nephews, nieces. Preceded in death by a brother Tom Hummert. He was a professional character actor, proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Memorial Mass Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese. Bishop Stanley Schlarmann and Fr. Patrick Peter presiding. Interment in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery. A family greeting from 10:00 a.m. to time of Mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Breese. Doris M. Wessling

Doris M. Wessling 54 of Bartelso died Thursday January 19, 2017 at Clinton Manor in New Baden.

She was born May 14, 1962 in Breese to Vincent and Rita (Beckmann) Hemker: they preceded her in death.

She married Gary Wessling April 15, 1983 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Germantown. He preceded her in death March , 1993.

Also, preceded in death by a sister Karen Budde, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ray and Loretta (Wilken) Wessling, sister-in-law Patricia Hemker.

Surviving are her daughters Mallory Wessling of Aviston, Bridget Wessling of Sandoval.

Brothers and sisters Joe (Carol) Hemker, Jim (Judy) Hemker, Betty (Bernard) Budde, Shirley(friend Tom Athmer) Budde, Glen (Judy) Hemker, Sue (Ron) Fuehne, Tom (Sandy) Hemker all of Bartelso.

Brother-in-law Stanley Budde of Bartelso.

Doris was a graduate of Greenville College with a B.S. in Business Management.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday January 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Bartelso. Fr. James Buerster presiding. Interment St. Cecilia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 23, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday January 24, from 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.

Memorials can be made to Community Link in place of other gifts of sympathy and will be received through the funeral home.
